# The short version
AndyMental is run by Anand “Andy” Padia, operating as P.A.M. Global Systems (“I” / “me”). I collect your email only if you choose to subscribe, and analytics so I know what’s worth writing — including a service that can identify some business visitors, which I explain below. The site carries ads through Google AdSense, which uses cookies — you can control those. I don’t sell or rent your data. Questions, opt-out, or removal: meet@andymental.com.
# Newsletter email
If you subscribe, I store your email address to send you the newsletter — nothing else. Subscription is double opt-in: you confirm by clicking a link, so an address is only added after the owner agrees. The list and the sending run on Resend, my email provider. Every issue carries an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time — or email me to be removed.
# Analytics
I record basic page views — the path visited, the referring page, a coarse browser/device string, and a random session identifier — to see which drops get read. This first-party page analytics is aggregate. Two things are handled separately and explained below: visitor identification and advertising.
# Visitor identification
To understand which businesses read the site, I use RB2B, a service that can match some visits — primarily from US-based professional networks — to a person and their company (for example a name, company, and public professional profile). It does not identify most personal or consumer visitors. I use this to understand my audience and for occasional professional outreach; I never sell it. If you’d rather not be identified this way, email meet@andymental.com to opt out, or browse via a VPN or private network.
# Advertising
The site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and — where allowed — to personalise them based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and see how Google handles data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. If you’re in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, a consent banner lets you accept or reject these cookies before any personalised ads run.
# Who processes the data
The site runs on a small set of providers, each handling data only to operate it: Resend (newsletter delivery and list), Vercel (hosting and CDN), Turso (database), iDrive e2 (media storage), Google AdSense (advertising), and Searchable (AI-search visibility analytics, which receives server request logs to measure how AI crawlers and search engines reach the site), and RB2B(identifying some business visitors). I don’t share your data with anyone else.
# Your choices
Unsubscribe from any email in one click. To have your address deleted from my records entirely, email meet@andymental.com and I’ll remove it.
# Changes
If this policy changes, I’ll update this page and the date above. Material changes to how the newsletter works will be mentioned in the newsletter itself. The companion terms cover using the site.
